15.03.2011 Emergency Press Release
Transportation of emergency relief foods and materials to Kesennuma, Miyagi continues
Two helicopters loaded with PWJ relief foods and materials (emergency tents, fruits, telecommunication equipment, kerosene, etc) arrived in Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture. Our land transportation team of 4, loading additional relief foods and materials (balloon shelters, fruits, breads, etc), left Niigata today and is now on the way to Kesennuma.
Transportation of relief foods and materials to Kesennuma is increasingly becoming difficult due to the shortage of fuels. There are also safety concerns on the road. PWJ is making every effort to make necessary arrangements so that we can continue to provide assistance to the people in need.
